Dr. Kate Scott is a creative strategist, leadership educator, and consultant who bridges entertainment industry innovation with academic excellence. At the intersection of technology, education, and organizational transformation, she has consulted for Fortune 500 companies, including Microsoft, Amazon, and Cisco, while building her expertise in learning design and leadership development.
Currently serving as faculty at Pepperdine University, Kate teaches graduate courses in AI adoption and learning design while maintaining an active consulting practice. Her research on artificial intelligence has been published in The Palgrave Encyclopedia of Leadership and Organizational Change and presented at conferences across Europe and North America, including the American Educational Research Association, the International Leadership Association, and EDULEARN.
Kate's unique career journey began in the entertainment industry as a child actor before transitioning behind the camera as an executive producer. Her work on '#Disneyland60' premiered at the Academy Award and BAFTA-qualifying LA Shorts Film Festival, while her commitment to positive youth representation earned her the inaugural Inspiration to Youth Award from the Young Artist Academy.
